The End is Near

The FRC season is about to end. The robot ships on Tuesday (and effectively needs to be done by Monday). In addition, things like the website and other awards need to be finalized by Thursday. This doesn't leave a lot of time. People need to use their time wisely. No more distractions. Get to work!

Team Colors

After careful consideration of your request for a change of team colors, I do agree with the majority that Orange and Black make sense - so how about Orange, Black & Silver? There is a very good chance that we will be partnering with the new high school on the west side and their colors are Orange & Silver. It would allow us to maintain our good colors while not only representing ourselves through our colors.

New Name

We have decided on S*M*A*S*H! Derivative of the name M*A*S*H, our name reflects on the nature of M*A*S*H. A rag tag group that goes to solve the problem is similar to us. S*M*A*S*H is also a catchy, singular name that would also represent our vitality.

Now we just need some colors. Message me suggestions! We want to figure this out for branding purposes.

Go FIRST!

For team S*M*A*S*H, I act as the teacher sponsor for the group and provide a large amount of management towards the team. I manage most of the financial and general things of Robotics, keeping the team together and having what they need.

In my other time, I am generally working on other projects, such as the Academy of Information Technology and Robotics, which was built around our Robotics program, and Creekconnect (an online grading site). They keep me busy along with managing an FRC and four FTC teams.

In school, I teach various types of computer programming. From IB and AP Computer Studies to basic Computer Programming classes, I know a variety of languages, from VB and C# to Java, and I use this knowledge to help my students, and the FRC program with any programming problems.
